Who we are
AdManager is run by Data Dive (datadives.co.uk). We are the data controller for the account data described here. For anything about this policy or your data, email mark@datadives.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address from your Google sign-in.
- Google Ads data, through the Google Ads API, for the accounts you connect: account ids and names, campaigns, budgets, performance statistics (such as cost, clicks and conversions) and search terms.
- Sales and profit data that your business provides through its own results link.
- Alert settings, such as the email addresses and WhatsApp numbers you ask us to send alerts to.
- A record of changes AdManager suggests or makes, and who approved them.
How we use it
We use this data only to provide AdManager’s features to the business it belongs to: showing performance against real profit, suggesting budget and pause changes, applying the changes you approve or set rules for, sending the alerts you ask for, and keeping a log of every change so it can be reverted.
Google user data
AdManager's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular:
- We use Google Ads data only to provide and improve the features you can see in AdManager.
- We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles for advertising.
- We do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not let people read it except with your permission, for security, to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the part of AdManager it supports:
- Supabase hosts the database, in the EU (Stockholm).
- Vercel hosts and runs the application.
- Resend sends and receives email (alerts, invitations and report emails).
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) delivers WhatsApp alerts, if you turn them on.
- Anthropic drafts ad text, only when you ask AdManager to write an ad. It receives the details needed for that draft.
- DataForSEO provides competitor search data. We send it search keywords, not your Google Ads account data.
We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else for their own purposes.
Storage and security
Google access tokens are encrypted before they are stored. Each business’s data is kept separate by row-level access rules in the database, so people only see the data of businesses they have been added to. All traffic uses HTTPS.
How long we keep it
We keep a business’s data while it uses AdManager. When a business is removed, its data is deleted 60 days after removal. You can disconnect Google at any time, which revokes AdManager’s access to your Google account.
Revoking Google access
In AdManager, open the client’s Settings, then Google Ads, open Advanced and choose Disconnect. You can also remove AdManager at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mark@datadives.co.uk and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
